Ambassador and Permanent Representative Dayani Mendis presented the Extension ofService to Mr. Christian Steppan, Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Tyrol/ Austria on 12August 2026.
During the meeting, the Ambassador and the Honorary Consul discussed avenues tofurther strengthen bilateral relations, promote cultural exchange, and deepen economiccooperation between Sri Lanka and Tyrol/Austria.
The engagement focused on fostering professional collaboration between Tyrol and SriLanka in the hospitality and tourism sectors. The Honorary Consul outlined hisproposals to enhance Sri Lanka’s visibility in Tyrol and to further trade and business tobusiness contacts.
